NBDBF pack problems

Hi...

I have create a multi user database but i have problem with pack command.
It says to me that i don't have administration rights to pack it....
It's bug or what...

Any idea...

Sounds like a Windows problem. Check your user settings and make sure you are set to administrator.

I don't use multi-user mode but if I recall discussions (long long ago), you need to open dbf in single/exclusive mode in order to do dbfPack ... since it could theoretically take a long time ... and mess up the other users during this time.

You can´t pack a DBF in multiuser mode. You have to open it in single user mode.

packing and indexing a dBaseDataBase is the main problem for preparing multiuser-solutions with NeoBookdB. Please look at the topic
