Hi HPW,

I appreciate the work and upgrades you have done with your hpwSimpleGraph from the TSimpleGraph component.

With an option [1] [0] to be able to scroll with the middle button of the mouse without changing current zoom-factor.

I do not understand. When I roll the wheel I get a zoom.
When I press and hold, I get an anchor and a arrow to scroll in all directions.
I can scroll with an anchor and an arrow as you say but in the explorer not over RSimpleGraph.
To have the options [1] [0] of solid / transparent of the RSimpleGraph (the canvas “rectangle” to be transparent).

Not sure if possible. What should show through?
A bmp image in the background.
To be able to move (within any position X Y) programmatically with time intervals the RSimpleGraph (canvas) background bmp image.

Which background bmp image?
Well thinking about this I can make a large node rectangle with an image in the inside and use it as a background with other figures in the foreground.
Then the question is, can I move (within any position XY) programmatically with time intervals any of the figures?
To be able to zoom in / zoom out each separately figure (Node) with the middle wheel of the mouse.

Zooming with the wheel alway zoom there where the cursor is placed?
Zoom in only the selected figure. Not the others

What mean 'in the explorer' ?

Would be a command hpwSimpleGraphMoveNodeTo.
Will think about.

As always every plugin is work in progress.

Also lot of work in my day job.
Maybe I will give it a try.

Hi HPW,

I am trying to save the must of the space available (in the buttons area) in my application. Because of this, can you tell me what are the difference between hpwSimpleGraphCut and hpwSimpleGraphDeleteObj they seem to do the same work.
If they do the same job, which one you consider the best to keep and why ?

Thanks one more time for your continue and excellent support on every plug-in you offer.

hpwSimpleGraphCut cut the object out into the clipboard.
hpwSimpleGraphDeleteObj only delete it.

HPW:

I tried over many times the following code without success.
Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong !

MySimpleGraph is the name of the canvas object.
Code: Select all
SetVar "[MySimpleGraph]" "MySimpleGraph"
FileSaveBox "Guardar mi Proyecto del Lienzo" "Archivo de Graficas (SGP)|*.sgp" "c:\" "[SaveFile]"
If "[SaveFile]" ">" ""
hpwSimpleGraphSaveToFile "[SaveFile]" "[MySimpleGraph]"
EndIf

Thanks

Your parameters were wrong!
Didn't you use the command-wizard?
Note that FileSaveBox does not add a missing extension.
So your code should check this also.

Thanks HPW,

Didn't you use the command-wizard?

Where I can find that wizard !

Can I export the saved work to Word ?
Also, can I save them in other formats like HTML and so on ?

Another add on for you to consider.
--> How about the possibility to add lines to the canvas without connecting them to any figure?
--> And to be able to make zig zag lines.

I mean the dialog when you double-click on a command.
There each parameter has a short explanation.

Can I export the saved work to Word ?

hpwSimpleGraphExportToEMF
or
hpwSimpleGraphExportToBitmap

Also, can I save them in other formats like HTML and so on ?

Since HTML is no graphic format you may use JPG etc.

I have no current plans for this.
But maybe there will be a new version of TSimpleGraph in the future that support more features. Time will tell.
