You can now use: SetVar "[hpwTreeViewImageList]" "[PubDir]Node1.bmp|[PubDir]Node2.bmp"
Instead of: SetVar "[hpwTreeViewImageList]" "[PubDir]Treeview.bmp"
Allows single image-files for the imagelist.
Images from EXE: SetVar "[hpwTreeviewImageFromExe]" "1" (NB5 only)

(Note: NB5 features tested against the last beta)

Hi HPW,

Is it possible when using the command "hpwTreeViewAddChildNode " to add the childnode but let it be hidden.

The only thing that will be seen is the plus "+" if this was the first childnode.

Thanks

Steven

Hi Steven,

I think you are right, I would consider it as a bug.

Just released hpwTreeView 1.26:

http://www.hpwsoft.de/anmeldung/html1/n ... book3.html

Bugfix: hpwTreeViewAddNode and hpwTreeViewAddChildNode no more autoselect the added node.

The old behaviour could easily added by a SetNode-command.
I hope it does not break others user code.

Hi HPW,

When running the demo pub on page 2, This is what I find ...

1. I do add tree node button once

2. I do addchildnode button 3 times

3. Then I presss on the plus + sign to see the 3 child nodes

4. I click on the the first child node and the folder image is the folder open

The problem is
5. when I click on the other 2 child nodes the folder image stays closed even though the variables shows that the folder is selected.

An unrelated question.

On Page 3 of the demo pub there is a file list that you use as input to a file folder tree,

This might be a silly question but how can I generate a file list as you did from a top level folder? I don't think the Dir command would do this.

As always your help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Steven

Steven,

Looks to me as a another bug.
Will further check.

For the moment you can use hpwTreeViewSetAllImageIndex and hpwTreeViewSetAllSelectedIndex to set them after creating.

>This might be a silly question but how can I generate a file list as you did from a top level folder?

This file was send to me by a treeview user with a question how to bring it in the treeview. Your question come up some times:

For example:

http://www.neosoftware.com/forum/viewto ... t=filelist

So there are different approaches: native script and plugin-based

Since I avoid to double functions currently available from other plugins, you can try them.

I have a database with artist and album (and others....) that I want to take the data in hpwTreeView and to query my database. So I have first to sort my database to take all the artists name in a text file and to query all the artists to take all the albums and to write a text file to work with the hpwTreeView and if I have 20.000 records it's take too much time.
Any idea?
Maybe HPW make something with the plugin?
