Some time ago I asked here about how to know if a network card was sending or receiving data. Pretty soon I received several solutions which I appreciate.

Anyway, I've been researching a little more about one of the solutions, and more specifically the Ferdinand gave me by using WMI.

I have found an interesting website (in Spanish) with assistance on how to use the WMI command, but the most interesting part is that there is an application (in English) which allows access to all commands and get a script in several languages (Batch, C#, JScript, KiXtart, ObjectRexx, Perl, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, VB .NET and VBScript) that can certainly be useful for all of you.

The website is here:

The program is here:

How to use WMIC Generator?
Follow these steps:
• Download the application, unzip it and run it.
• Wait for the application to fully load and then in the top window down until you find Win32 classes.
• Select the one that interests you and the bottom of the window, select the type of script to generate either batch, VBScript, etc..
• Press the Generate button and have the necessary code to create your own script.
