About round function in dbpReport

Postby carlos torres » Mon Dec 24, 2012 9:35 am

Dear NBK Team

TIA

I made a report and at the end I need to put some averages, but i need just a couple of decimals (truncate) like 6,57 instead of 6,56987531.
How can I avoid this in my dbp report?

Thanks, regards and Happy Xmas

You can use the Report Designer's Formula Tool for this. Calculations can be formatted by adding a pipe character and a special code to the end of the formula. For example, the following will format the results of a calculation with a dollar sign, two digits to the right of the decimal and comma thousands separator:

[Orders.Qty] * [Orders.UnitPrice] |$#,#.00

When printed, this will produce results similar to the following:

$1,250.50

The Report Designer help file has more information about this.
