Set column focus in grid

Postby BRobinsonS » Fri Nov 09, 2012 5:44 pm

In a DBPro grid, Is there a way to set focus on a column after entry in made another column?

My app pastes a Date in a Date field using dbpPopupDateSelector. I would like to advance to the next column automatically to enter an amount. (Just for ease of data entry)

Is it possible?

Not sure if it will work but you can try sending a TAB keystroke immediately after entering the date

try sending a TAB keystroke

Not sure how to do this.
Looked at Help but it didn't help.
Closest was SendKey but that sends to another app.

If I recall correctly, leaving the first parameter empty will cause the keys to be sent to your own pub/program ... try ...
Code: Select all
SendKeys "" "{Tab}"

Seem to work. Needs a little work.
Need to select Date column first, then after pasting date does move to next column.

Thanks for the tip.
