Open xslx as database

Postby beno » Tue Sep 18, 2012 3:02 pm

Hi,

If I try to open a excel file .xls all runs fine.

If the file is .xlsx then it does not happen as before. "Unknown database type" pops.

Using NB 5.6, NBDBPro 1.5 on Windows7 Starter

Ideas?

Hi,

The solution was provided by datadon in this post:

http://neosoftware.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17298

My excel file had filed names at the top using extended characters, in Spanish, it took me some time to figure out these characters were provoking errors. Once identified all is running fine.
