Back for more Master Detail Reports

Postby BRobinsonS » Tue Jul 10, 2012 4:59 pm

My next task is to create a Master/Detail Report.

The Report Designer is very brief on this.
I have tried without success what the description says. I would like a picture (visual learner) if possible.

I have searched the Forum without finding an answer too.

My Master table is Contacts
My Detail table is DuesPaid

Common field is MemNum

The designer does not seem to allow linking DuesPaid to Contacts.

Suggestions of how to get started would help. Or even a small sample app would be great.

I'm sorry, we don't have any additional documentation other than what's in the help file. The Sub-Report object is the key to making it work.

Worked out Master/Detail.
Once I ran the report inside the Neobook app I got the results I wanted except for formatting fields, and line heights in reports in the sub-report.

Just need to clean up the layout etc.
