How to create a ListBox object from field and dbfind dude.

Postby martincalatrava » Tue Jan 31, 2012 8:34 am

Hi to all.

I would like to know how to create a listbox object with content of 2 or more fields from access database.

Ex: ListBox contains:
ID, Name, Phone

* Another thing about dbfind. Is possible to show only results with dbfind and not only to be positioned to the first recor finded??.

Thanks a lot for your support.

You can use the dbpPopupValueList action. For example:

dbpPopupValueList "Database" "Table" "ID" "ID;Name;Phone" "Left=8;Top=200;Width=158;RowCount=20" "[Result]"

Hi again. Many thanks for your response.

There are any possibility to have this list allways visible to allow to select a register and change the selected register on the fly with this popup list?

Thanks

You could try using the dbpFieldToVar to export the contents of a single field from each record to a variable. The results could then be displayed in a List or Combo Box.
