Numeric Overflow with Spreadsheets

Postby datadon » Wed Oct 26, 2011 9:43 am

When trying to update the data in an exce spreadsheet, I get the Numeric Overflow error message. It dosen't seem to matter what the field is, general, numeric or text, it show up with all of them. I have tried using the string replace and using setvar to revise a field value. some times it lets me make one change and then give the error message after that. I have also tried the ! symbol in front of variables, still get the message.

Seems I remember hearing something about this being unique to spreadsheets.

Anyone have any ideas or comments on this?

I can't reproduce that error here. It may have something to do with the version of Excel used to create the file. If you can provide an example pub and Excel worksheet that demonstrates the problem, I would be happy to take a look at it.
