What is a "Very Large Database" according to NeoBookDBPro?

What is large enough to start using CursorLocation=Server?

Portuguese zip codes (about 250.000 records)

It works fine, fast, and with no problems!!!

My concern is when the database has to be reached over internet (not a local database).

Does it have the same performance?

There is no set size. Whether you need to use a server-side cursor depends on several factors such as database size, connection method, hardware, etc. If your database runs slowly then try experimenting with a server-side cursor and see if performance improves.
