and fields the database can appear in a button?

Not that I know of. The only thing I can think of is putting a mask, like a hollow button over that field. You might be able to put a link in that programatically.

You can create a loop and pass the database records into the buttons.

You can setup your grid using dbpSetGridProperties to define a SubRoutine to respond to a double click on a row in your grid ... from the Help file ...
The name of a subroutine from your publication's Subroutine Action. The subroutine specified here will be executed whenever the user double clicks anywhere within the grid. You can use the dbpGetActiveField action in the subroutine to determine which field was clicked if needed.

If required, you can setup this SubRoutine to show any number of NeoBook objects ... Push Button, Container/Custom Window etc. ... you can even use GetMousePos to position your followup objects relative to the row being double clicked.
