On Right Click clause..

Postby David de Argentina » Fri Aug 28, 2009 10:50 am

Hi Dave,

I'm trying your NeoBookDBPro plugin.

Are there any way to catch Right click activity, in order to put a contextual menu over the grid ?

Thanks in advance,

Hi David,

There isn't currently a right click action (maybe in the future), but you can specify a subroutine using dbpSetGridProperties to capture a double click.

hello..how can i do this?
basically i have a grid list od dvds and want to be able to doubleclick an item in list thst returns me back to the page before.
At the moment a dvd title and all details shows in a screen and i have a button to click and show a "search" list of sy, 10 titles.
When i look at 10 title GRID list if i select one then press back i can see that 'choice' shows in the details view.
What i want to do is DOUBLECLICK that grid choice and it will take me back to the page.
Thanks for any ideas :)

In the Help file, take a look at dbpSetGridProperties .. in particular the property called OnDoubleClick=subroutine ...
Code: Select all
The name of a subroutine from your publication's Subroutine Action. The subroutine specified here will be executed whenever the user double clicks anywhere within the grid. You can use the dbpGetActiveField action in the subroutine to determine which field was clicked if needed. Subroutines are entered from the Actions page of NeoBook's Book Properties screen.
If you knew about this command/property, tell us what is preventing you from accomplishing your goal within such a subroutine.
