NeoBookDBPro 1.1/Report Designer Beta 2 Released

Postby Neosoft Support » Fri Jan 11, 2008 5:30 pm

A second beta of NeoBookDBPro 1.1 is now available for download. The beta test is open to all registered NeoBook customers. For more information and to download a copy of beta #2, visit the web site below:

http://www.neosoftware.com/dbpro.html#beta

Beta 2 includes the following changes:

-All reported beta 1 bugs should be fixed*.

-NeoBook variables can now be used with the Report Designer's Picture object.

-An option to change the Partition object color has been added to the Report Designer's Preferences screen.

-The Report Designer will attempt to prevent objects from being dragged completely off the visible page.

-And several other minor enhancements.

* If you reported a bug please test.

Although this is a beta version, registered users may use it with their finished compiled publications if they wish. The final version 1.1 should be released next week unless something unexpected turns up in beta 2.

Hi...

Dave, thanks for the quick update.
Here is a photo on results i get.

This photo is from the new beta release.
On the left is the report designer preview window at 200% zoom and on the right the preview window of HP Deskjet 5740 at 125% zoom.
when i print the report is exactly as viewed in HP Deskjet 5740 Print preview.

Still the text alignment in all positions has problems.
Also a new problem for me came up. In previous version i was able to read and write the text in Greek inside the Text/Filed properties now i can't.

Thanks

Smartmedia: what format is the graphic? Does it include transparency? In this case, I think it should be non-transparent, with a white background. In the screenshot, it looks transparent.

Hi ...
Thanks for the quick update.
I reiterate my suggestion with an example:
Why is it when there are several columns, choose to place recordings from left to right instead of top to bottom.
Here is an example of calandar

Another question:
How can I do to have a page break after each month?

Thanks for your help.
Good evening

Salut ...

Even though the forum software displays the red colored X ... if you click on it, the image is displayed in a new IE window
