DBPro_OnError

Postby antonio45 » Mon Oct 01, 2007 12:08 pm

There is a customWindow which have 4 text entry boxes;
1. Variable Name = [DataSource]
2. Variable Name =[User_ID]
3. Variable Name =[Password]
4. Variable Name =[Databasename]

And I use this variables when I connect the database like this ;

dbpShowErrors "No"
dbpOpenDatabase "[DatabaseName]" "Provider=SQLOLEDB.1;Password=[password];Persist Security Info=True;User ID=[user_id];Initial Catalog=[DatabaseName];Data Source=[DataSource]"

If I use DBPro_OnError spacial subroutine,
:DBPro_OnError
AlertBox "ALERT" "[dbpError]"
Return
2 error Occures = Invalid Database ID: (Databasename variable value) and The Table "" is not open
But the table is opening after these messages. Is it a bug ?

I wasn't able to reproduce this here. If the only action you're executing is dbpOpenDatabase, then there should only be one potential error message assuming that the command fails. Are there any other actions in your publication that might account for the additional error messages?
