Hello all,

I am looking for a command (or a plugin) that opens a specific directory in Windows.
Do you know of a method ?

Thanks all.

Hello,

If what you wanted is to shown an specific directory into an Explorer window then you can use the "Run" action:

Code: Select all
.Shown the publication directory
Run "[PubDir]" "" "Normal" "" ""

I am not sure what you mean by "open a directory".

In other platforms, you "open a file" before you can read or write its contents ... in NeoBook, you just use FileRead and FileWrite ... as well as FileInsline and FileDelline ... and NeoBook does the open/close for you.

With folders, there is no concept of open/close ... but a couple of NeoBook commands that might be of use are FileList and FolderBox.

You might also check out FolderExists, CreateFolder and RemoveFolder.

And along the lines of dec's suggestion, you can also run a DOS command dir ... and have its output redirected to a local file ... whose contents you can then read into a NeoBook variable.

If there is something else you wanted to do with folders, please elaborate.

Error message : "Access denied."
Hum ... a problem with the Windows administration / autorization ?

Thanks for your help.

I just want to open the "ImagesTest" folder on my computer desktop. Like when I double-click it to open.

It is stored in the variable [ConvertionDirectory].

OK that's good!
You just had to add \ after the variable: [ConvertionDirectory]\

Thank you all ;)
