Opening the Windows Color Picker Dialog

Postby Enigman » Mon Apr 15, 2013 11:26 am

Has anyone found a "good" way to open the native Windows color picker dialog from inside actions commands?

I have found the NeoColorPicker plug-in that opens the older Windows XP style color picker (which is okay), but in Windows 7 the dialog opens way up in the left corner of the desktop with part of the frame out of view and the dialog does not learn a new window location even if you move it once. I am looking for a more up to date version or a way to place the dialog location progammatically.

Thanks.

Hello,

Try, if you like, my npUtil plugin, and, particularly, the npColorDialog action.

Thanks for the pointer, but this is a freeware app so far, so I am sticking with free tools. Thanks.

Awesome ... much better handling of the picker dialog and an option for placement on the screen.

For the life of me I don't know what "raspoloenie" means, but I like the plug-in. Thanks. :)

You may have a look at hpwImageColorBox from hpwImage.

So Google translated. I was not even looking. Corrected the above post. So probably will be more clear.
