IfEx Structure

Postby Pat Baner » Sat Jan 15, 2011 12:19 pm

I would like to use thed "IfEx" command but am having trouble with syntax. Here is my situation:

I have 2 variables. I want to check to see if one if empty and one has a value. I am not really sure how to do that. I tried using the standard "" as I would on a normal "If" command but it didn't work. I searched the forum here but didn't understand the advice given in the posting.

I did this very fast. It works with
positive numbers and also with strings.

IfEx "([data1] < 0 AND [data2] >= 0) OR ([data1] >= 0 AND [data2] < 0)"
AlertBox "" "One of the variables is empty"
