object with sticky note cannot be dragged

Postby JoeE. » Fri Jan 14, 2011 12:42 am

Dear NeoBook users,

I'm very new to NeoBook (great software!!) and have got a question. I would be glad, if someone could answer me...

I would like do drag a polygon object. When this object has a sticky note or balloon at the same time (mouse enter action), dragging isn't possible any more. Where's the trick?

Thank you very much!

You can't use a sticky note or balloon here. Instead create a Simple Text or Picture object containing your message. Set the object's initial state to hidden (visible property off). Then in the polygon's mouse enter action use the ShowObject action to display the Text or Picture object. For example:

ShowObject "Text1" "None" "0"

Finally, in the Polygon's Mouse Exit action, hide the object:

HideObject "Text8" "None" "0"

This method will still allow you to drag and drop the Polygon.
