Hiding Master Page Object from Another Page

Postby BRobinsonS » Sat May 29, 2010 10:24 am

I am setting up a Book format with cover and pages. On the Master page I have a PushButton to return to 'TOC' page for a Table of Contents. I don't want this Pushbutton showing on the Cover page from the Master page. Is there a way to HIDE this Push Button?

Hi..

You can use Hideobject command to hide any object. And showobject command to show it. Like this:
Code: Select all
HideObject "pushbutton1" "None" "0"
ShowObject "pushbutton1" "None" "0"

If you want your object to show only on specific pages then you can do it with multiple ways.

1) Put a object copy, only on every page you want to show it.
2) Put it in master page and use hideobject on Page Enter and show object on Page Exit.

Also check the help file. Is very helpful..

Thanks. So easy. Thought Hide Object only related to object on that page.
