Right button Menu on Mousse Over (List Area)

Postby UltraVox » Fri Mar 26, 2010 4:44 am

Hello all,

I would like to create a menu on the right button mouse over an Area List (Zone List in english version ?). The option does not exist in NeoBook, but I am convinced that a possibility exists.

If it helps, there is a variable [Function] for the tray, hover the mouse (tab Entry Mouse and Exit Mouse) :

Code: Select all
SetVar "[Function]" "Function name flown by the mouse"

Is it possible to generate a specific Menu, from the right button of the mouse, where this variable is active ?

Thank you for your help.

I don't think there is any way to use the right click for a list box. However, you might be able to do something with this example pub:

http://www.neosoftware.com/neobook/modules/pubs/singlefile.php?cid=10&lid=94

The pub demonstrates how to create a simulated list box that's actually made up of push buttons - which do support right click actions.

I think I recall a plugin (MouseHook?) that detects mouse events. X/Y positions, Right-click, Left-click, Wheel, etc. Using such a plugin you could create a right-click menu anywhere.

Ingredients:

ListBox
Mouse Enter Action:
SetVar "[M_Object]" "MyListBox"
TimerStart "MouseEventTimer" "25"

Mouse Exit Action:
TimerStop "MouseEventTimer"

Timer
Interval Action:
IfEx "[M_Object]=MyListBox AND [Mouse.Event]=RightClick"
TimerStop "MouseEventTimer"
GoSub "ListBoxMenu"
EndIf

Subroutine "ListBoxMenu"
:ListBoxMenu
GetMousePos "[mX]" "[mY]"
MenuEx "[mX]-10" "[mY]-10" "This|That|The Other Thing" "[Menu#]"
... do stuff here
Return

It might look something like that at least. Does anyone know where this plugin is??
