Kenjie:

It looks like the system is saying that there is no (Windows) program associated with files with extension of "jpg" ... in such a machine, you might try and double click on a .jpg file entry within Windows Explorer ... and see how it is handled.

Not sure why you need to have the image displayed externally ... with NeoBook, you could just as well display it inside a Picture Box ... something like ...
Code: Select all
SetObjectFileName "Picture1" "![TempDir]\yourFileName.jpg"
... will display it.

If needed ...
Code: Select all
GetObjectInfo "Picture1" "ImageWidth" "[picWidth]"
GetObjectInfo "Picture1" "ImageHeight" "[picHeight]"
... will give you the dimensions of the image ... and then use SizeObject to set the size of the Picture Box appropriately.

When not needed, this Picture box can be placed off screen.

Gaev's example works correctly for me.

All NeoBook does is pass the file name you specify to Windows which finds the associated application and executes it. The "(Error) %1 is not a valid Win 32 application" usually indicates that there is something wrong with the file association. What happens if you manually change the application associated with JPGs from Windows Explorer?

Also, what version of NeoBook are you using?

Is WLPhoto the same as Windows Photo Gallery?

What specific NeoBook actions are you using to open your photos?
