FindFirst and FindNext dialogs

Postby DIG » Tue Jan 26, 2010 4:46 pm

Hello,

In spite of the feature "Display error messages" (Book Properties) is off, FindFirst and FindNext display messages like "Search text not found".

Is possible that the message boxes launched by these actions do not appear?

Greetings.

About errors

Dear Dig

Those errors are generated by the database manager (dbp/Db) not by NB. To fix it Just use dbpShowError=FALSE

Carlos,

FindFirst and FindNext are actions of NeoBook (Messages/Interaction -> Search Functions).

I want to disable the message boxes launched by these actions.

Take a look at the global [lasterror] variable. You should be able to use it to trap the error.

It's not possible to turn off the messages generated by the FindFirst and FindNext actions. However, you can customize or translate the message text from the "Language" page of the Book Properties screen.
