Run a help file with a button

Postby Threepwood17 » Sun Dec 13, 2009 3:25 pm

I'm making program with a help file associated (.chm). When I compiled it and I push F1 the help file runs perfectly, but I want to make the same thing with a button. Is it posible?

Thanks!

You can creat a button outside the application area and affect at this button a shortcut keyboard.

Or if not you can use the plugin NeobookKB.

Hello Fabien
This is not the solution of my problem. I need a script in order to my button makes the same thing of the F1 key. I don't know if neobook can run a .chm file pressing a button.

I have found the solution of my problem in the dec_pack plugin of David Esperalta.
Thank you

Run "hh.exe" "[#34][pubdir]help.chm::mainscreen.htm[#34]" "Normal" "" ""

You can also use NeoBook's HelpTopic action to display a topic in the publication’s help file. For example:

HelpTopic "Index"

(You must specify a help file in Book Properties before using this command.)
