Does your SMTP server require authentication?

If you are not using your mail server, it is possible that your access is blocked by the recipient server because many of us do not allow direct access from a DSL/Cable/Dialup connection without authentication.

Many mail servers will NOT receive mail from a consumer grade of Internet connection as it appears you are attempting to do. I suggest you re-think your method on sending mail out. Get a standard SMTP/POP connection somewhere and use that (don't forget to set your global variable for the mail server).
