i need to open a textfile in notepad

i know the path and the filename - variable allready reads like
C:\Files\File.txt


as always, thanx a lot in advance for any help!

If TXT files are associated with Notepad (as usual), you can use Run command:

Run "Pathname.txt" "" "Normal" "" ""

Even if txt files aren't associated, you can use the Run command:

Run "notepad.exe" "C:\Files\File.txt" "Normal" "" ""
