Please update the Help pages for Define Transparency

I spent quite a bit of frustration trying to follow the instructions in the Help section about how to create transparency in an image. My image was a png that I created in Neopaint from a jpg from my camera. I could view the checkered area in the transparency window but it would not save. Then I found information in this forum about how I needed to change my png to 16 million colors + alpha channel 32 bit. After I converted the png, the checkered area saved properly. Re-inspecting the Help page, I saw the sentence at the bottom of the Help page that the procedure only applied to 32 bit images, but could you please make that clearer by mentioning the "Convert to 16 million Colors + Alpha Channel 32 Bit" into the Help section on Transparency? Because I never had to convert the png when I used NeoSoft 4 so I wasn't even aware of that command. In Neosoft 4, all I had to do was to click a single button and I never concerned myself with 32 bit, 16 bit, 8 bit, or whatever, it just worked.

Hi Thad,

I apologize for the confusion. I will print your message and make a note to update the help file so that this process is more clear.

Thank you for using NeoPaint.
