Can you be more specific? What happens when you try to display a PDF file in NeoBook? Do you receive any error messages?

Sorry,

The PDF file does not open, the rectangle where the file should open remains empty. No messages.

At next page change, I get the message "Access violation at address 6DDD5CE6. Read of address 6DDD5CE6"

When I try to close the application I get the message "Access violation at address 00000000. Read of address 00000000"

Now, only the task manager can close the application.

Thanks for your help

NeoBookPDF seems to work correctly with the latest version of Acrobat Reader (11.0.08). I tried to install Adobe Reader DC, but received an error message stating that I already had a newer product. Adobe Read DC appears to be an entirely diffierent product than Acrobat Reader. If that's true then it may not include the ActiveX control that NeoBookPDF needs in order to work. Without the ActiveX control the only way to display PDF files in NeoBook would be through the WebBrowser object.

To display PDF files in NeoBook through the WebBrowser object:

SetObjectFileName "WebBrowser1" "[Embedded]4_1.pdf": it does not work.

SetObjectFileName "WebBrowser1" "[PubDir]4_1.pdf" : it works

How can I display an embedded file?

Thanks

I'm sorry, the embedded option will not work here. The PDF file must be external in order to be seen by the browser. The same was true with NeoBookPDF.

How can I display an embedded file?

ExtractFile "[Embedded]4_1.pdf" "[TempDir]4_1.pdf"
SetObjectFileName "WebBrowser1" "[TempDir]4_1.pdf"
FileErase "[TempDir]4_1.pdf"
