Hi.

What is this program? What does it do? I'd need to know those things, as well as whether or not it will attempt to write to my registry before I can review it for you.

That is a simple and basic multimedia course on "Gnosis".

The publication will write to the following direction in the registry:

RegistryWrite "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" "Software\[pubtitle]\Access" "1"

The usage will be:

RegistryRead "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" "Software\[pubtitle]\Access" "[access]"
If "[access]" ">" ""
ShowObject "SkipIntro" "Fade" "2"

The key is deleted when you uninstall the publication.

Thanks

Eduardo

Nice layout.. except text which is virtually unreadable due contrast.

Eduardo:

I finished my review of your publication.

I confess that I'm quite ignorant regarding the content, but my assessment of the publication itself is quite good. It installs properly, uninstalls completely, and everything seems to work.

I think I understand the subtlety you're going for with the grey font on the black background, but it does make it a bit difficult to read. Of course, that could be attributed to aging eyes.

Anyway, I think its excellent work. The UI is intuitive and attractive. The art you use is lively but not obstreperous. I think its an excellent demonstration of Neobook's usefulness as an ebook publishing tool.

Congratulations and keep up the good work.

I think it looks great.

Can you share with ushow you did the text animations in the titles?

Was it using flash and an external plugin.

Thanks

hi,
I don't know how Fleming did this, but the easiest way seems to use SWFtoGIF from http://www.effectmatrix.com which is only 16$ after a 2 week trial period. Animated gifs are easy to handle in Neobook, and flash-files can be done with plenty of programs, e.g. Swish

Thank you for your reviews.
The intro and the text animations were made using swish.

I would like to use a "Made with Neobook" small picture suitable for dark backgrounds. In fact would be good if we had some of these pictures (small, medium, big) for diferent back colors.

hi SpibZ,

you are right, you can directly export gifs from FlashMX, but did you see the price of the program, too? And it exports IMHO the gifs separately one by one, which means you have to put them together to an anim gif by Neopaint for example.

Good, with little adjustments it will fit dark and white back colors.

Thank you
