Nice clipboard tool!

Suggestions:

Name your files as the main-exe
HELP.RTF to Spiritsaver.RTF
saveno.DBF to Spiritsaver.DBF
saveno.DBT to Spiritsaver.DBT

1086.KB for a clipboard tool isn't really small. :-)
Thats the price for using neobook.

Save Your Neobook Objects

Hi SpiritHorseNOOT,

Welcome to the Forum, and thanks for posting this application.  May I make a few suggestions?

1) I think SpiritSaver would be more useful and would feel more like a part of the NeoBook development environment if it were always on top and if it could be "rolled up" into just a title bar when not actually being used.

2) It would be really cool if you could figure a way to capture and display an image of the object.  Probably not an easy thing to do

3) It would be useful to be able to sort the saved objects by title, and it would also be very useful to assign more than a title to each object.  I'm thinking of assigning a group name (e.g., Summer Theme) as well as an object name, and also an object type (e.g., button, simple text, combobox, etc.) so that my next suggestion will have some "muscle."

The 'group' idea could be extended to separate databases for each group which means there'd have to be a way to name and load different databases.

4) A search function based on object name, group, type (see above) would be useful.  It would also be useful to sort the objects in the displayed list -- sort by name or group or type or date of entry or ...

5) The 'create' button's behavior seems odd.  It works for me every second time I push it.  When it doesn't work it switches to a different program (my browser is open to the NeoBook Forum site and 'create' switches to it).  This behavior could be because I'm running a program that gives me several virtual screens on my display.  Perhaps that program (JSpager.exe) is the culprit in this case.

Anyway, with a little work, SpiritSaver could prove to be a valuable tool.

Thanks for sharing this.

Really very nice tool!

Perhaps a suggestion is, to make the process of ObjectType-Selection automatted, because each NB-object has a special number.

Do you have compiled the EXE "compressed", because there are so many blank spaces in the code and a lot of Adobe-notes?

Dowloaded your program yesterday, thanks ...

A. Sorry I found a bug, belonging to the dBaseTable.

1. Save 2 Objects separately after each other
2. Restore the first, both objects are restored ...

B. Searching via the ComboBox shows not the  choosen item.

By the way, I liked the buttons and the design of 1.1 more than the menu-technic: Now you need more mouse-clicks.

Only a suggestion: Make the same design as NB-Tool-Windows:
- Make a window without Header line
- Prepare your own "dummy"-Headerline with "Simple Text".
- place your ^-v-button in that headerline etc.

Why is the EXE so big (nearly 1,5 MB)?

Does this belong to the two plugins (DB and SendKey)  or didn't you use the compress-switch?

well partly probably cause i have some buttons hidden for later additions
and it has three pages ................ main, help, container for the costume windows so they can't be changed unless called for................ and yes it is compressed
