Get Image Size

Postby ajhunt » Tue Aug 04, 2015 7:29 am

Hi all, is there a way to find an image size (not object size) - I bet there is a plug in. Thanks guys/gals.

ajhunt:

Say the image is being viewed in an object called myImage3 ...
Code: Select all
GetObjectInfo "myImage3" "ImageWidth" "[widthOfImage]"
GetObjectInfo "myImage3" "ImageHeight" "[heightOfImage]"

If you do not want the user to be shown the image, just MoveObject the object to some place outside your pub window.

Thanks I'll give that a go bit I thought that would give me the width/height of the object not the actual image which may be alot bigger than being viewed in the object.

Thanks Geave

Just tested - you live and learn lol - thanks Geave

Plugin NeoResize has the action AE_Image_Get_Metrics, that returns the metrics of any image.

You don't need open the image into your app, to do GetObjectInfo action.
