Blur or shadow background window

Postby stu » Thu Dec 18, 2014 7:24 am

I don't know if I was dreaming or something but I'm pretty sure someone posted a plugin or way of making background windows blurry or darken... Sort of of your main window when you click on a button that opens a CustomWindow, then after you close that CustomWindow the other one gains focus and its normal again...

know what I mean?

stu:

Not sure if I understand correctly, but how about ...

1) Start with an Image, preferably but not necessarily made up of just one color

2) Define a Picture Object that ...

a) fills the entire Publication Window

b) Arrange >>> Bring To Front

c) contains the Image in (1)

d) adjust Opacity to desired "blur"

e) Make it Hidden

3) Each time you do a Custom WIndow, unHide it

4) Each time you CloseCustomWindow, Hide it again
