Flash Player not Loading Configuration

Postby Skywalker » Sat Jun 14, 2014 6:40 pm

Hello,

I am just using a webBrowser object to open a webpage "http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/index.html" and the Flash Player fails to Load Player Configuration.
I assume the configuration is read via JScript?

I've made the same Project in VS2008 without any problems.

Opened web page via FireFox, 360 WebBrowser, Chrome, and IE11 with no problems.

Should I assume the problem is from NeoBook?

I am running Win7 x64
IE11
Fully Updated Present Date
Any suggestion?
Never give up trying. Just try it another way that works for you.

I'm not sure there is anything we can do about this as it appears to be a problem with Microsoft's TWebBrowser component. NeoBook's Browser object is based on the TWebBrowser component. Basically NeoBook passes the URL you supply to TWebBrowser and it handles all of the downloading, rendering, etc. Unfortunately, the TWebBrowser component does not always behave the same as the standalone version of Internet Explorer.

While this is likely as Dave says a shortcoming of the NB component used for the IE browser, it is also a version issue of the JWPlayer used on the site.

See this http://support.jwplayer.com/customer/po ... figuration
