"Connection" between NBK and Android software ?

Postby DELCO » Mon Jun 02, 2014 4:46 am

Hi to all,

May be my question will look strange, but I would like to know if it is possible to share files ( txt files or csv files...) between a Neobook software and an Android App ? And vis versa.

regards,

Hello,

The question probably requires more details DELCO. For example, I can answer that a NeoBook application can produce TXT, CSV or other kind of files which an Android application can read. Of course all depend on what the Android application expected as input, what the NeoBook application need to ouput or viceversa. Maybe you can explain a little more the question.

Hello,

In fact, I thought copy a file to the Internet with a NBK app, and get it with a Android app.... But I realize that I don't know how to send a file (txt, csv, etc...) to a folder on a web site.

Is it possible to copy a file to the Internet ?

Hello,

If you talking about how to upload a file to a webserver or FTP I think the best option can be the NeoBookFM/FTP plugin. Are you trying this DELCO?

Hello,

I was just trying the plugin FM/FTP...but I must say that I am a bit confused.... I read the help file, but not clear to me.

What is the simplest way to select a file in my [pubdir], open a connection to my site on the web, and then copy the selected file to a folder on the web...?

Too many actions in this plugin...

Hope you can help me.

Finally, I found a begining of solution... but I can't copy the file to a specific folder on my website. Whatever I put in the path indication, the file is always copied at the root of the site...not in the indicated folder... :(
Any idea ?

Hello,

Copy here the code of the action you use to upload the file DELCO, including the source and target paths. If you can put the source file into your server root directory you are know very closest to the solution. Probably the problem is a "wrong" path for the target file. For example, take care about back slashes if your server run on Linux (most probably) since the Windows back slash: "\" differ from Linux: "/". Anyway copy here the code and we try to help you. ;)

Linux is case sensitive with folder names and filenames. Be sure to check they are correct.
